Europcar recently started using a new Volvo FM X-low 4×2 car transporter. The cabin roof of the Volvo has been modified by ESTEPE.
The cabin roof of the Volvo FM is chamfered by ESTEPE. The combination of a low chassis with the lowered roof ensures that extra space is created above the cabin. This makes it possible that the truck can also be loaded above the cabin.
In addition to chamfering the cabin roof, various other cabin modifications are available at ESTEPE, such as lowering the cabin roof, halving the cabin or extending the cabin. Standardized or customized solutions are available for every cabin. Besides the modifications, there are numerous options such as displacing antennas or putting back a roof hatch.
