Uitenhage Verhuur recently received two new DAF LFs. For these vehicles, a standard DAF FL FA is equipped with a steered pusher axle. An original DAF steering axle with disc brakes is used for this modification. The 6-tonnes axle brings the GVW to 22.5 tonnes.
Due to its compact dimensions, a relatively high payload and small turning circle, the LF FAG conversion is extremely suitable for refuse collection in inner cities. This modification is also available with a tag axle at ESTEPE (FAN conversion).
